Description: - Yet another wonderfully full Double Fuchsia flower, the Fuchsia Blooms are so heavy on this very showy cultivar it is in need of staking at certain times. The very large blooms on this Fuchsia Plant are of light and deep pink and will win prizes at any Fuchsia show. The growth is strong and upright, fairly bushy. The corolla is further enhanced by small spot and veins of rose pink, this cultivar if trained, will make a very good full weeping standard Fuchsia over two years. Can be grown as a basket Fuchsia plant with careful attention.

The bottom figure Closed without Mist, can be a very difficult method of propagation in the early months of the year, mainly due to the threat of botrytis, adequate control measures should be taken to combat this fungal disease.

Rooting Fuchsia cuttings with the aid of artificial lighting.
All lighting must be of the highest recommended horticultural grade, and installed by a qualified E.E.C. approved electrician.
Never attempt to install any electric fittings in a damp environment yourself.

Recommendations for Rhyzapon are: - 1 tablet per 1000 Fuchsia cuttings throughout the months December until late May, no artificial rooting agent is recommended from there on, this is due to natural hormone levels in plant tissues being very high.
If stock plants are kept, these to will require artificial lighting as well. Realised sales via mail order per season for this variety are:- 37,500 based on a yearly Fuchsia sales figure of 1 million.
I strongly advise that you keep no less than 4500 stock plants of this variety, this will allow for 12 cuttings to be taken off each plant every 21 days, (this is an average figure).
